At this meeting, the Board Members not only agreed to changes in the statutes, but they also decided to form the citizens’ committee for the launch of the ECI which the Foundation has been working on for some time on European Citizenship Education: “Making European citizens”. Our aim is to submit the ECI for registration on Europe Day (9 May) and to work with a coalition of other organisers for a number of initiatives to be launched in the run-up to the European elections.
