Call for BETA Youth Task Forces: Help us Shape the “All On Board” European Citizen’s Initiative”
Most European campaigns are designed in Brussels boardrooms and then exported across the continent. At the ECIT Foundation, we believe in doing things differently.
We are preparing for the September 2026 launch of the “All On Board” ECI—a European Citizen’s Initiative designed to turn the right to Learn, Experience, and Recognize EU citizenship into a reality for everyone, from university students to vocational apprentices. To make this initiative truly European, we are inviting a small group of youth task forces to join us in the final co-creation phase.
🌟 The Opportunity: Become a BETA Phase Youth Task Force (YTF)
We are looking for 10 “BETA YTFs” to join us during our final planning phase (late April – June). Each YTF consists of at least three members that will be supporting our work in their current city. Whether you sign up as part of an organisation or just a group of friends, all that matters is that you are excited about democracy and participation! This is not about simply endorsing a campaign. It is about helping shape it. We don’t just want your support; we want you to help us build it.
As a BETA YTF, you will:
-
Test the Action Kit: 🛠️ Be the first to use our Canva templates and checklists, giving us feedback on what to keep or change.
-
Refine the “Digital Town Hall”: 💻 Every month, YTFs across Europe meet in a high-energy Digital Town Hall. These are spaces for Skill-Up trainings (led by partners like ALDA and the Lifelong Learning Platform) and peer-to-peer strategy sharing.
-
Shape the Summer Strategy: 🌍 Provide “boots on the ground” insights to ensure our September launch is culturally relevant across all 27 Member States.
📅 The Timeline
Why Join Now?
This is a unique opportunity to see the “backstage” of a European Citizens’ Initiative. As part of our Democratic Innovations Accelerator (DIA) project, active BETA members will receive early-access certification as “European Democracy Leads.” 🎓
